Sharpening Stone & Oil Stone
Oilstone, also known as sharpening stone, comes in wide range of shapes, sizes and material composition. Stones may be flat or shaped for complex edges. Examples of items that may be sharpened with a sharpening stone are scissors, knives, razors, etc.
Bench Combination Stones
A practical combination of two sides with different grain strengths. The coarse surface permits quick rough grinding, the fine grain enables final sharpening and re-working. The combination stones, as the bench stones, are chiefly suitable for flat blades.
Square Files
Our grinding files have an advantage over steel files in as much as they are effective in those places where the steel files are unsuccessful. The precisely worked file shapes are ground true to scale and with accurate and sharp edges, so that in use even difficult precision tools can be properly dressed.
Circular Files
Sharpening and reworking of precision tools such as cutting tools and punching tools, engraving and watch-making tools , as well as precision instruments.

Silicon Carbide
The abrasive for extremely high demands
Permanently highly stressed and high-quality steel parts need special attention. Their economical use depends to a large extent on the preservation of their performance. Wide and other hard steel products can be maintained and resharpened without difficult using Silicon Carbide. Tools which are used for coarse planing and lathing work achieve a longer service life if the blades are ground with Silicon Carbide abrasive stones at an angle of 45 degrees to the chisel contact surface. With this method a blunting phase is achieve which should amount to 0.1 to 0.3 mm, depending on the cross-section of the cutting and the stress.
Recommendation for use: Silicon Carbide abrasive stones and files can be used with water, thin oil (fine grinding), petroleum, or even dry. For cleaning and retaining the grip it is recommendable to rub with a similar, slightly coarser Silicon Carbide abrasive stone or truing stone, adding water.
